We’ve been told ad nauseam how much Europe loves Obama and how thrilled they are to soon be rid of the cowboy Bush. That sentment was clearly expressed by the irrepressible Silvio Berlusconi who hailed the president-elect as “handsome, young and suntanned”. From a man who himself sports one of the world’s great tans, that’s quite a compliment.
