Equity investors in a buoyant mood in the wake of rising Treasury yields

Equities extending gains from early trading in Europe. The positive sentiment spillover from yesterday's trading is so far continuing onto today as well, and despite US 10-year yields touching a high of 2.94% earlier (now at 2.917%) we're not seeing any signs of jitters in stocks just yet.
US equity futures are also pointing to a positive start in the cash equity market later, and that's helping sentiment in equities as well right now.
