Nobuhisa Sagawa was until recently the head of Japan's National Tax Agency. But he has resigned in the wake of the Moritomo scandal that has surfaced, which has over the weekend put further pressure on prime minister Abe and finance minister Taro Aso.

He is a key figure in the scandal, which prompted his resignation earlier this month. The Reuters source is saying that he will be testifying in parliament on Tuesday next week.
