NY Fed's William Dudley in an interview with Associated Press says:

  • His outlook is little changed since year began
  • Still sees US growth at 2%. That level of growth will tighen job market
  • Mkt expectations not unreasonable on September Balance sheet
  • Expects inflation to move somewhat higher.
  • Backs another 2017 hike if economy evolves as expected.
  • Balance sheet announcement seen relatively soon
  • Asset prices consistent with economies performance.
  • Cohn is a reasonable candidate for Fed chair.
  • Expects Fed balance sheet in 5 years to be near 2.5T to 3.5T (the current Fed balance sheet is 4.4T)
