What's incredible in the entire debate is that if cryptocurrencies actually did supplant the dollar, the pain and hardship of something like the financial crisis would be infinitely worse.
In all the complaining about money printing, where is the pain? There is no inflation.
If you take away the government's power to control the currency, they'll just exercise power in some other, much more brutal way. It's an alternate fantasy that will never happen.
That doesn't mean you can't trade the hype.
