Fitch says that proposed US tariffs to have limited impact on China metal producers

Some comments by Fitch on the tariffs imposed by the US on steel and aluminium

• Says that they expect China's steel market to remain stable in 2018
• Most of China's steel exports goes to regional markets, not the US
• China's steel exports to the US only accounted for just 1% of its total steel exports in 2017
