Very quiet in Asia apart from some modest moves in the AUD and NZD. AUD/USD opened above 1.0500 but drifted lower through the morning with traders easing out of long positions ahead of the RBA minutes. AUD/USD fell to 1.0460 before the minutes, rallied back to 1.0500 after the release and has since fallen slowly back towards session lows. Ranges: 1.0459/1.0513
EUR/USD opened around 1.0440 and has traded in a tight 35 pip range. Heavy corporate offers were reported towards 1.4500 and this dissuaded any bullish intent ahead of the Franco-German talks later today. Trailing stops noted below 1.4400. Ranges: 1.4419/55
