Paul Krugman is taking questions about global trade and the recent developments following Trump's tariffs implementation

Krugman won the Noble Memorial Prize for Economic Sciences back in 2008 for his analysis on "International Trade and Economic Geography". You can catch a glimpse of that here.

He'll be taking questions through a New York Times post and will be responding to them "early next week".

Though his opinion is that of an outsider - considering the parties involved in the trade wars rhetoric, it'll be interesting to hear what he has to say on the matter and surely worth a read if you're wondering what's going to happen to the world in the event of a full-blown trade war.

He also had a post up earlier in the week on Trump - arguing why you should listen to a "ranting old guy with nukes".
