According to a report by Kyodo News

Says that governments of the 3 countries have reached a "broad agreement" to hold a summit in Tokyo in early May, citing several diplomatic sources from the countries.

If true, it will be the first time leaders from the 3 countries will meet in a trilateral summit since 2015. Meanwhile, the report also says that Japan is planning to hold bilateral talks with China and South Korea separately around the same time too.

Something stirring in the background, maybe?
