Japan Defense official: N. Korea missile flight could have been more that 3000 kilometers

A Japan defense official is being quoted by Japan's NHK that the missile flight could have been more than 3000 kilometers.

According to Google, the distance from N. Korea to Japan (in general) is 1,043 km.

FYI, the distance from N. Korea to Alaska is 5,717 km.

Now, the missiles they are firing do not have warheads on them and who knows how accurate they are, but they are getting some distance and are certainly a risk to Japan.

PS Hawaii is 7,500 km away and a much smaller target.
