USDJPY meanwhile in rapid retreat from 114.00 to 113.45. Will investigate as I clear the sleepy stuff from my eyes. I always said this early shift should be covered by someone in Asia.
Nikkei falling too. Now down 1.55 on the day. Some profit taking seemingly kicking in but that correlation hasn't been a USDJPY driver lately. More the other way round as foreign investors pile in producing yen demand.
