Eleven countries have been meeting in Tokyo aiming to forge a new Asia-Pacific trade pact after the US dropped out of an earlier version last year.
Canada have been sticking out for protection of cultural elements of its economy such as films, TV and music.
The new deal is known as the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTTP) or TPP-11.
