For July;
- June was 58.3, revised from 58.6
- 4 of the 5 sub-indexes fell on the month (employment the exception, it rose)
- Weather impacts cited for the fall, also uncertainty higher ahead of the September election
This data point is generally not an immediate forex market-mover
Earlier I pointed out NZ data has been a wee bit disappointing in recent weeks. Not necessarily bad, but not as good as has been expected. While there was no 'expected' for this data point it has come in well below the previous month's. And, note, at 56.0, it is not bad.
