The Tokyo market officially opens at 10am, or 00:00 GMT, and bang on the open we saw some decent sized selling of AUD/JPY and EUR/JPY. Liquidity remains sketchy at times and the flows are not thought to be particularly large but nobody wants to hold on to any risk.
The AUD/USD saw a low of .6526 in that little flurry and the EUR/USD traded at 1.2860.
