Reuters poll of 547 large- and mid-sized companies

  • 255 firms responded
  • conducted Oct. 26 to Nov. 7.
  • Reuters Tankan indexes are calculated by subtracting the percentage of pessimistic respondents from optimistic ones. A positive figure means optimists outnumber pessimists.
