After a surge in the early hours, the major stock indices have turned negative.

The S&P traded as high as 2619.47. It is now at 2574.32 down -8.5 points.

The Nasdaq traded as high as 6885.219. It is now trading at 6754, down -26 points

The Dow was has high ast 24209.50. It is down -224 points now at 23648.

The major indices trade back below their 100 day MAs

• The S&P 100 day MA is at 2639.39
• The Nasdaq 100 day MA is at 6859.66.
• The Dow 100 day MA is at 24092 today.

The prices in the Nasdaq and the Dow both moved above their 100 day MAs, while the S&P did not reach the level. The failure keeps the sellers more in control.
