The US Federal Reserve enters its blackout period from 10-22 March, as the FOMC meeting approaches

On the agenda left today is Boston Fed head Eric Rosengren and Chicago Fed head Charles Evans.

Evans will be up first at 1340 GMT as he speaks to CNBC in an interview, followed by an appearance on Bloomberg TV at 1545 GMT.

Rosengren will then be on the wires at 1740 GMT as he speaks at the Springfield Regional Chamber's annual Outlook luncheon in Massachusetts.

Then, we'll shift back to Evans again as he will be involved in a discussion on the economy and monetary policy at an event hosted by the Manhattan Institute Shadow Open Market Committee. That will be at 1745 GMT.

And that basically rounds up the Fed speakers we have for the day and for the next week-and-a-half.
