Da Vinci's "Salvator Mundi" smashes art auction record

It took only 19 minutes, with four bidder on the phone and one in person, and at the end, Leonardo da Vinci's "Salvator Mundi" sold for a record $450.3 million (fees included).

That price shattered the prior record for Picasso's "Women of Algiers" which was gaveled at $179.4 million in May 2015.

The buyer was not immediately disclosed.
