British car production fell 4.1 percent in September y/y

- Exports, accounting for 80 percent of total output, fell 1.1 percent
- Domestic demand down 14.2 percent
- "It's clear that declining consumer and business confidence is affecting domestic demand and hence production volumes," SMMT Chief Executive Mike Hawes said.
