Says that the US has not given China a list of things it wants China to do in order to remedy trade ties between the two nations.

Previously, US has asked China to figure out ways to reduce its trade surplus with the US - but really, how is that ever going to work. Made for such an awkward moment, but with the recent tariffs spat it seems like the US still wants China to reduce its trade surplus with the US in some way or another.
