Sees big tax cut effects
VP Pence is weighing in on the economy saying:
- The best is yet to come as the economy sees tax cut effects.
The US stock market is getting a boost today after the sharp fall into the close that saw the Dow reverse 470 points and the major indices closing at the lows. Not today:
- The S&P is up 24.8 points or 0.91%
- The Nasdaq is up 55.7 points or 0.77%
- The Dow is up 284 points or 1.14%
Those levels are near the highs for the day.
Pence visited the Olympics last week and sat this close to Kim Jung un's sister. It was reported yesterday that a secret meeting between VP Pence and North Korea high level leaders was cancelled just hours before the scheduled meeting by the North Koreans. He returned back to Washington.
The US will be represented by Pres Trumps daughter Ivanka Trump at the closing ceremony.
