WSJ reports
The WSJ is reporting that Pres. Trump's lawyers are seeking to negotiate a deal with special counsel Mueller to speed up the ending of the Russian probe.
The hope is that an interview with the President will be leverage for setting a date for concluding the investigation. One idea proposed is ending the investigation within 60 days of the interview.
I don't know how much has been done, what more needs to be done, but it would be nice to get it over with one way or the other. Whether 60 days is enough, is beyond my depth knowledge given the scope and breadth of the investigation.
