Aussie, Aussie, Aussie!
It was a good week for the Australian dollar after a miserable start to the year. Virtually all the gains came on Friday after the tariff announcement and on the jump in risk sentiment after non-farm payrolls.
On the flipside, the safe-haven yen and Swiss franc were at the bottom of the pile. It was a classic risk-on week in the FX market.
