The EUR/USD has opened in thin early interbank trade 150 pips above its NY closing level, presently quoted at 1.2880. USD/JPY and AUD/USD are both 100 pips higher. The market is reacting to the concerted measures being proposed by the EU member countries.
Stock markets and the UK election are the other main factors influencing the market. We should be in for another busy one.
