SCMP reports, citing a source briefed on the matter
The report says that the Chinese delegation - led by vice premier, Liu He - had originally planned to set off earlier this month but had to change their plans after US president Trump claimed that he would sign the deal on 15 January in the White House.
That said, there hasn't been any official confirmation on the Chinese delegation visit yet from both Beijing and Washington for the time being. The full report can be found here.
As mentioned before, at this stage, this is pretty much a done deal. Instead, it is all about waiting on the details and the fine prints of the deal to be revealed.
