New Zealand services PMI for August: 53.2 (prior 55.1)

BusinessNZ services PMI for August in NZ, comes in at

• prior is 54.8, revised from 55.1

The services PMI does not tend to move the NZD too much at all upon announcement. Stick it into the 'background info on the NZ economy' file.

A slightly slower rate of expansion for the services part of the economy in NZ during August. The index is slipping towards it lowest in around 5 years.

The manufacturing sector was higher (see link below) in August.
