Taiwan is the Republic of China.
Taiwanese diplomats and officials are taking an active part in the global campaign to purchase Australian wines in defiance of the other China (People's Republic) which has imposed heavy taxes on Australian wine to pressure Australia.
Taiwan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) tweet:
- "we stand in solidarity with Australia by serving Freedom Wine at MOFA Taiwan"
