Levels in play for the AUD/USD coming into the big data release (capex due at 0030GMT)

Australia - Q4 capex is coming up at 0030 GMT

What to expects:

• Australia Q4 capex data due today (a market focus) - preview
• Thursday - Q4 capex preview

During the US time zone, Greg noted:

• AUDUSD moves back toward the 200 day MA

Its under there (200 MA around 0.7780) now on approach to the data release.

From an overnight note via UBS, were looking at some support around

• .7775 - .7885 (100 & 200 dma)

and now that it is under there:

• Ideally to keep the downside momentum, it should stay below the highs from Tuesday (.7870)
• only a move back above .7900 would change my bearish view

UBS note next support around

• .7750, .7700

(Also note ressitance, but since the note is an overnight one and UAD/USD is now lower, these may be outside of the playing filed for today ...

• Resistances - .7830, .7870, .7900

Looks like a reasonable set of levels to me - others welcome, of course.
