Earlier, from Monday in the US:

Merck CEO Kenneth Frazier resigned from Trump's American Manufacturing Council

• saying his resignation was his way of taking a stand against "intolerance and extremism".
• Prompting an angry tweet from President Trump

Then, Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank also stepped from the Council

(I haven't yet seen any angry tweets telling us how sad moisture-wicking sporting apparel is)

Now, a third:

Intel Corp. chief executive officer Brian Krzanich has resigned from U.S. President Donald Trump's council of business leaders.

Krzanich comment:

• I stand with others for equality and improving US competitiveness. Both require improving in todays environment.
