The major difference between the Edge and Classic trading accounts is its commission-based structure. Edge account users are charged a commission of $7 per trade, with spreads from 0.0 pips. By extension, the Classic account is commission-free, utilizing variable spreads from 1.0 pips.

Both the Edge and Classic accounts support hedging, Islamic accounts, EAs, ECN trade execution, leverage up to 1:500, a minimum lot trade size of 0.01 lot, and a minimum deposit of $100.

As each option has its strengths and weaknesses, TMGM provides a helpful account trading placement tool in the form of a short questionnaire on their platform. This is designed for traders who are unfamiliar with which trading account is best suited for their style of trading.

Fees and Costs

The minimum deposit sum required for traders of TMGM is $100. Upon deposit, all funds are fully segregated in Tier 1 banks such as Westpac and NAB.

Supported payment methods include Visa, MasterCard, Bank Transfers, Neteller, Skrill, UnionPay, AliPay, FasaPay, SticPay, and Broker to Broker, among others.

Of note, TMGM does not enforce any withdrawal or deposit fees on traders. Moreover, TradeMax Global Markets safeguards liabilities against clients with a Civil Liability Insurance program that provides a market-leading coverage against errors, omissions, negligence, fraud, and other various risks for up to $5,000,000.

Trading Platforms

TradeMax Global Markets supports the MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platforms. Users are also given access to the proprietary trading platform, iRESS.

Considered the industry standard, both the MT4 and MT5 platforms are ideal for algorithmic and discretionary traders. Their flexibility enables investors to trade with TMGM seamlessly from any internet-enabled device.

TMGM also provides a free demo account to help familiarize all users with each trading platform.
