Its just ticked over to 7.30m in Tokyo, and the USD is weakening a little. It looks like a quiet sort of day on the data front, with not much until Europe and the US are in much later.
USD/JPY is testing down towards the lows it saw on the sharp selling early Monday in response to Amari’s weekend comments. EUR, GBP, NZD and AUD have all ticked a little higher to test the late-New York highs (NZD is the best performer, taking out the highs, albeit only small).
There’s not fresh news of significance.
