Trading in Asia overnight was pretty uneventful, with price action in the majors confined to relatively narrow ranges. EUR/USD is presently up at 1.2645 compared to a North American close Tuesday around 1.2620, while cable is up at 1.4985 from around 1.4960. Asian stockmarkets showed little real change as well, somewhat mixed but generally a little lower. This morning we have a few releases, but nothing of major interest to be honest. Probably the most eagerly awaited release will be the latest Bank of England minutes at 9:30 GMT. Then at 10:00 we have euro-zone construction output for September and then finally CBI industrial trends for November at 11:00 GMT.
