Nasdaq the worst performer
The major US indices are having lower by a like a rally has helped ease some of the earlier pain.
The final numbers are showing:
- The S&P index fell -20.91 points or -0.70% at 2643.85. The low extended to 2624.06
- The NASDAQ index fell -79.18 points or -1.11% at 7085.68. The low extended to 7034.25
- The Dow industrial average fell -208.98 points or -0.84% at 24528.22. The low extended to 24323.
The earnings fireworks starts tomorrw with Apple, Ebay, Pfizer and others reporting tomorrow. On Wednesday Facebook, PayPal, McDonald, Tesla and Microsoft will report. On Thursayd Amazon, Mastercard, Ge and DowDupont will report. On Friday, Exson, Chevron and Merck will report.
