UK Brexit spokeswoman: Have been opposition Labour lawmaker involved in discussions

Brexit updata from PM May's spokeswoman

She says:

• PM May will not be going to Davos so she can focus on Brexit (joins Trump in not attending).
• Can expect PM to have calls with EU leaders in coming days
• meetings with lawmakers on finding way forward on Brexit have been constructive
• there been opposition Labour lawmakers involved in discussions with government
• if EU offered to facilitate an extension of article 50, Britain would say "No"

The Labour leader Corbyn has been encouraging opposition lawmakers to shun discussions until the PM guaranteed there would not be a no-deal Brexit.
