An interesting reaction from USD/JPY and Nikkei futures – I wonder if the initial response will continue? Certainly the downtrend appears strong.
The weaker than expected GDP reading (though only the preliminary reading) should influence the sales tax debate away from the existing plan and towards the perhaps more incremental approach (though of course that remains to be seen).
