FOMC Minutes due at 2 pm ET

The headlines from the Minutes usually hit the wires en masse at 2 pm but there is a winter storm in Washington and that's led to a cancellation of the media lockup, so the report will simply be published on the Fed's website followed by a free-for-all.

Here's Deutsche Bank on what to expect:

Our US economists expect the minutes to shed more light on how the Fed's domestic and global growth outlook may be evolving and the lens through which the Committee may view incoming inflation data in the near term. Expect some focus on the balance sheet normalisation program too, which our colleagues expect to reiterate Brainard's view that the Fed will likely end the roll-off of maturing securities by year-end.
