The December 24 report published today
It's going to be awhile before we have relevant CFTC commitments of traders data once again. The CFTC just published the report for the week ending December 24. I'm not even going to bother rehashing it because it's so old and it's for the year-end period. If you want to find it, it's here.
Going forward, here's the CFTC plan:
"The CFTC expects to publish one report on Tuesday and another on Friday of each week until the reports are current as per the normal schedule."
At that pace it should take until the end of February or early March to get current. But remember, US government funding runs out on Feb 15, so it could be right back to the waiting game before long.
