Bank fixed interest note forecasts two rate cuts from the ECB in 2020

Mizuho with the projection, arguing the cuts will be needed in order to stave off disinflation in the eurozone. 

  • Says the European Central Bank will not rely on a fiscal boost from more government spending
  • and thus it "should be a very bullish year for European fixed income"
