Bank of Japan considering 'slashing' its inflation forecast

Japanese media, Nikkei, reporting on the BOJ pondering cutting its inflation forecast

  • for this fiscal year
The forecast is due in the next quarterly report from the Bank, due April 26/27.

The BOJ inflation target is 2%, and the latest CPI data show, of course, this is a long way off, as it has been for years.
