Australia retail sales data for July a slight miss at +3.2% m/m
- preliminary estimate for this was +3.3%
- June was +2.7%
A little under the flash reading but better than June. As I said earlier, any satisfaction at the improvement will be short-lived given the August result is likely to get ugly again with Australia's second-largest city hammered back into a harsher lockdown
