OIS market is pricing in a 60.8% probability of a rate hike in May's meeting

This compared to last week when it touched above 70% following the BOE's statement and inflation report.

BOE economist Andy Haldane said over the weekend that they are in "no rush" to hike rates at this point in time, and the 0-9-0 result in last week's MPC meeting underscores that sentiment.

Vlieghe's comments earlier didn't do much to change that picture either, so it doesn't look like BOE talks are going to spur the chances of a rate hike any higher at this point.

If that's the case, the next thing the market should look forward to is economic data points. And there will be one as early as tomorrow - which is the UK January CPI report.
