That appears to be the way this is going
With Hammond hinting or at least putting pressure earlier with his comments here, and now ITV is reporting, citing a member of the ERG, that they were shown a draft of Cox's new legal advice:
The gist of it is similar to what was rumoured yesterday here. The claim was later denied by his office here but it appears that things are starting to resurface once again. The idea here is that a change to the legal advice will help to maybe sway the DUP and ERG to vote for May in a coming third meaningful vote.
