Canada wholesales trade sales for October 2015
- The prior month was revised to -0.3% from -0.1%
- The Wholesales sales climb 1.6% from year earlier.
- Wholesale inventories +0.5% in October vs. Septembers minuses 0.6% (rev from -0.4%)
- Declines were recorded in food, beverage, tobacco, and auto sectors, Building and Misc. There were gains in Machinery and equipment, personal/household and farm products.
- It was the 4th consecutive monthly decline for wholesale sales.
With CPI coming in weaker as well, the USDCAD has moved sharply higher and is making new 12 year highs in the pair (going back to August 2003). The pair is also approaching 1.4000 level.
