An interesting thought here is how involved and how much is China is willing to offer a hand to the US in achieving some form of success in talks with North Korea. Considering that North Korea solely depends on China for trade and its economy, China basically has some form of leverage to sway North Korea for talks with the US.
And in turn, that will at least give them a little bit more wiggle room in talks with the US on trade.
