Despite the government shut down the Federal Reserve will be releasing the January Beige book Wednesday 16 January 2019
The Beige Book reports on various local economic conditions and will be an input to the upcoming Federal Open Market Committee meeting (on January 31).
The background to the Book is a strong employment picture, slowly rising wages and inflation not far from target … which all amounts to a strong showing for the domestic economy.
