European indices in the red just after the opening hour-and-a-half

- Germany DAX -0.3%
- France CAC 40 -0.7%
- UK FTSE -0.5%
This ties with a further pullback from the highs last week as equities continue to struggle for momentum in the new week so far. The market looks to be awaiting a fresh catalyst for a move and it still isn't getting any over the past few sessions.
US futures have also pared their earlier advance to keep more flat now. S&P 500 futures and Dow futures are near unchanged while Nasdaq futures are up 0.1%.
