A soggy start to the day for European equities
A continuation of the theme from Asian trading. Chinese stocks have managed to pare some losses into the close, but it's still a bad day nonetheless. The Shanghai Composite and CSI 300 indices both closed the day down by 3.8% and 3.5% respectively after having been down by more than 4% earlier.
