This follows a more cautious session by European equities yesterday to start the week, missing out on the late surge by Wall Street once again. Despite the slight gains in futures for now, the risk mood remains more mixed to start the day.
US futures gained earlier but are keeping closer to flat levels, as the market sees a modest pullback in gold after hitting $1,980 earlier. Gold futures topped $2,000 for the first time and that likely triggered some profit-taking activity.
