Newly appointed ECB chief economist, Philip Lane, will appear again today

Here's the schedule and what to expect:

0855 GMT - ECB's Philip Lane speaks in Dublin

Lane will be speaking at the European Financial Forum, hosted by the FT, and will be making a 'special presentation' according to the agenda here. I wouldn't expect Lane to deviate from the script if he is to touch on monetary policy and the economy, with his latest comments yesterday being the benchmark.

1000 GMT - ECB's Villeroy speaks in Paris

Villeroy will be speaking in his capacity as the Bank of France governor here as he addresses the French National Assembly commission on financial inclusion. Likely not to touch much on monetary policy but even if he does, the comments aren't going to deviate from recent ECB commentary.
