Rees-Mogg was one of the parliament members that backed May ahead of the amendment votes and is believed to be working with her now as they look to come up with a new approach on Brexit. That said, talking about eliminating the Irish border altogether is not going to fly with European lawmakers so I'm not sure what he's getting at here.
